This Application Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy") outlines the information collected from users and its handling by NTT Broadband Platform Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") when using the smartphone application "Japan Wi-Fi auto-connect" (hereinafter referred to as the "Application").

This Privacy Policy is publicly posted within the Application and on the official website. By using the Application, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall (delete) the Application.
Article 2 (User Personal Information)
Under this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" refers to information that identifies individuals under Japan’s Personal Information Protection Act (e.g., name, date of birth). The Application does not collect Personal Information.

The information collected by the Application and its purposes are as follows. For more information, please refer to the details page.
1. User-Related Information
Under this Privacy Policy, "User-Related Information" refers to non-personal information related to users that does not identify individuals. This includes:
① Email addresses entered by the user during Application registration.
② SNS account information entered by the user during Application registration.
The Company uses the above User-Related Information solely for registration authentication and promptly deletes it after registration is completed.
2.Attribute Information
Under this Privacy Policy, "Attribute Information" refers to non-identifiable data managed with the same strictness as Personal Information and User-Related Information. This includes:
① ser-input information: Gender, age group, usage area, planned stay duration, purpose of visit to Japan, visit frequency, and companions.
② evice settings: OS language, device OS type, registration date/time.
③ ser IP address and Application operation logs (e.g., GPS/Wi-Fi location data, operation details, Application-assigned user ID, timestamps, SSID, BSSID, Beacon connection data, advertising IDs like IDFA or Google Advertising ID).
④ i-Fi authentication data: Time, BSSID, SSID, UUID.
⑤ raffic data: Data usage volume, communication timestamps.
Purpose of Use:
- Responding to user inquiries based on usage scenario.
- Analyzing the number of users of the Application.
- Analyzing usage for Application improvement.
- Generating statistical data for tourism/disaster prevention policies.
- Sharing with third parties such as data analysis companies for big data utilization, online advertising/content distribution, service development, and marketing
The Company does not associate this attribute information, etc. with personally identifiable information. When sharing this data with third parties, it is anonymized in a non-reversible manner, so that users cannot be identified.
3.User Location Information
Among the attribute information, etc. in item 2 of this Article, the following are collectively referred to as “location information”:
① GPS location information
② Location information based on Wi-Fi access points (SSID, BSSID, spot name, etc.)
The Company uses user location information for the following purposes:
- Procedures for using public Wi-Fi access services, the main function of this Application
- Supporting Wi-Fi connections
- Providing Wi-Fi spot information via maps
- Analyzing usage for Application improvement.
- Generating statistical data for tourism/disaster prevention policies.
- Sharing with third parties such as data analysis companies for big data utilization, online advertising/content distribution, service development, and marketing
In particular, location information based on Wi-Fi access points is periodically obtained in the background, with user permission, for the following features:
- Automatically connecting to target Wi-Fi
- Logging in to connected Wi-Fi and using the public wireless LAN access service
Article 4 (Information on Minor Users)
If the user is a minor, the parent, guardian, or legal representative must agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use of this Application and must provide comprehensive consent for the minor to use the Application accordingly.
Article 5 (External Transmission)
1. Information collected under Article 3 is transferred to the Company's servers and used within the scope of the purposes outlined in the same Article.
2. The contact feature in this Application uses the following external service:

Purpose: Providing location-based info services, marketing, service improvement, online ad/content distribution, performance analysis, statistical data use
Third-party provision: unerry, Inc.
unerry may provide the collected data to the Company via electronic or paper-based means and use it to deliver services, conduct marketing, and maintain or improve the quality of services related to Beacon Bank SDK. The data in item ④ may be published in a non-identifiable, beacon-ID-free form. "Marketing" in this context includes people flow analysis and behavioral estimation-based advertising.

Article 6 (Third-Party Linkage of Attribute Information, etc.)
The Company may share all or part of the attribute information collected under Article 3 (2) and (3) with third parties such as data analytics companies. The analysis results may be used to improve the Application’s features and shared with area operators for tourism and disaster prevention efforts, or used by service providers for ads, content, service development, and marketing.
Information that could identify users will be anonymized in a non-reversible way before sharing. Therefore, the linked third parties cannot identify users.
Article 7 (Termination of Service)
Uninstalling (deleting) this Application by the user is considered the termination of use.
Article 8 (Account Reset)
You can delete your user account by following the procedure under "Reset Account" on the "Contact" page within this Application.
Article 9 (Contact Information)
Inquiries or consultations regarding the handling of user information in this Application can be made via the "Contact Us" page under "Contact by Email" within the Application.
Article 10 (Changes)
This Privacy Policy may be revised. For significant changes, separate consent will be obtained again.

This document is prepared in Japanese. It may be translated into other languages for convenience, but in case of any discrepancies between the Japanese and the translation, the Japanese original takes precedence.
